a hot mess

The 20 hour bus ride to Bariloche, Patagonia was surprisingly enjoyable. Mucho snacks, cookies, te, vino y movies. Made friends with Tomas, a 19 year old going to visit el familia en Bariloche. Once again, very nice and my housemates and I might go see him play jazz in town. I woke up surrounded by beautiful snow capped mountains and lakes! The stars are so vivid and refreshing after never seeing any in Philly. Bariloche reminds me of Boulder, CO without spoiled rich college kids (although I hear the wealthy Brazilians get on the natives nerves). So far, so good! My housemates are a trip. I am living with people from all over the world. South Africa, Switzerland and all throughout the US. Meeting more new people at the school right now. Im excited to improve my spanish! Haha why I´m a hot mess….. When I arrived, the cab driver did not know my address to my house so I had him drop me off at my school. I didn´t except anyone to be here because it was Sunday, but I had to directions from the house to the school. But, when the taxi left, I realized my directions were in his car! Shit! So, I hukked all stuff down many a blocks in search for internet. Nice, found one! Oh but yes, it´s Sunday! It was closed. Managed to find a hostel which was super super nice and let me use their internet. Got real directions, another cab and made it. Always gotta spice things up a bit you know. Haha I thought of you Veronica. ¨Trishy, you´re a hot mess.¨ I´ll be going snowboarding this week at Cerro Catedral. Doesn´t seem that impressive, but I´ll take anything! I´m going to try and make it to Las Lenas after Bariloche. Ill keep you posted. Abrazos y besos, Trishy
